Dr Supritha Aithal Supritha is a Bharatanatyam artist, educator and a researcher in arts and wellbeing. Born into a family rooted in arts and literature, Supritha started learning Bharatanatyam and immersed herself in dance at a very young age. Supritha is an ‘A’ grade artist of Doordarshan (National Broadcaster, Government of India) and has performed widely in ensemble and solo productions at prestigious venues in India, UK, UAE, USA and other European countries. She holds a PhD in dance movement psychotherapy from Edge Hill University and MFA in Bharatanatyam from Bharathidaasan University. Supritha has conducted several workshops and widely published in international peer-reviewed journals and books. Supritha enjoys dancing and intends to spread the joy of dancing through performances, creative teaching approaches and therapeutic work.
